Virtual Violet Fire Yoga Tuesday 9 AM EST / 6 AM PST
A transformative yoga class for beginner and intermediate students. Practitioners build self-confidence, vitality, flexibility, and the ability to transmute adversity and stress to power by incorporating breath work, flowing hatha yoga poses, mantras, and guided meditations.
Virtual Afra-Kemetic (Smai Tawi) Yoga Thursday 9 AM EST / 6 AM PST
This class consists of a unique blend of Afra-Kemetic power postures, deep breathing exercises, Qigong, and affirmations designed to boost immunity, empower the mind, and revitalize your energy.
A great modified yoga for beginners, elders, and those who may have disabilities. In gentle yoga, you move your body in a gentle, comfortable way. It focuses on stretching and breathing, not feats of strength or extreme flexibility and encourages movement without the potential for strain.
Yoga is traditionally an individual practice. However, jointly practicing yoga with another person, whether that be a friend, partner, or significant other, can have its own unique benefits. Known as couples yoga or partner yoga, this practice allows two people to relate to one another through assisted poses.
CHILDREN & YOUTH CLASSES
Growing up in the 21st century is very different from previous generations. Violet Fire Yoga specializes in teaching children (pre-school - high school ages) techniques on flexibility, body peace, breathing exercises, yoga poses, visualizations, and relaxation activities.
You know what office jobs require – employees sit all day in front of a computer screen. The work of today’s world requires stillness, focus, and concentration. So how do you offset all those hours of sitting day-by-day? Yoga therapy improves posture, relieves aches from sitting and staring at screens, prevents repetitive-motion injuries like carpal tunnel, and clears the mind—so you and your employees avoid that afternoon energy slump.
PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM YOGA
If you're pregnant and looking for ways to relax or stay fit, you might be considering prenatal yoga. An effective prenatal yoga routine safe for all trimesters; might also help you prepare for labor and promote your baby's health.
Postnatal Yoga is geared for strength & flexibility where the basic flow is utilized along with some balance, and reminders to engage your core.

Our private classes are all about you - your pace, your goals, your schedule. Sister Roni works with you to build a strong, safe foundation; yoga practice.
